Pink Dreaming

Supporting Breast Cancer Research

Every three minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s why the Pink Dreaming Collection is dedicated to the support of breast cancer research. This brand represents the company’s social responsibility commitment to find ways to cure breast cancer, and to give back to the communities we serve nation-wide. With each purchase from the Pink Dreaming Collection, a donation is made to find a cure for breast cancer and to raise awareness amongst those most at risk across the country.

The Ruttenberg family, which founded American Textile Company, has strong ties to the Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh. In 2005, family members wanted to extend their support in the fight against cancer into a business venture the company could undertake with its retail partners. By combining efforts with large national retailers in a highly visible campaign, we have been able to meaningfully support the on-going fight against cancer.

Since introducing the Pink Dreaming initiative in 2005, American Textile Company and its retail partners have donated more than $285,000 to breast cancer research efforts.
