American Textile Company (ATC), a leading supplier of utility bedding products to United States and Canadian retailers, announced today that it will open a new production and shipping facility in Dallas, TX.

DUQUESNE, Pa. – The 105,000 square foot facility, leased from Hillwood (a Perot Company®), is strategically located in Pinnacle Park Building Three on Pinnacle Point Drive near I-20 and Loop 12. The facility will open its doors in November 2007 and will employ more than 60 employees. Staff selection will begin in October.

“American Textile Company is excited about the opening of this new facility, which reinforces our commitment to growing our bed pillow business and will allow us to serve our national retail customers more efficiently,” said Reid Ruttenberg, ATC chairman. Randy Cowder, director of west coast operations, will oversee this facility from American Textile Company’s western headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT. “Hillwood is fortunate to be able to accommodate industry leader, American Textile Company, at Pinnacle Park,” said Preston Herold, vice president of Hillwood Investment Properties. “The demand for space at Pinnacle Park shows that it is one of the premier distribution locations in North Texas.”

This expansion comes shortly after the opening of a similar facility in Salt Lake City, UT. The new facilities are a result of American Textile Company’s continued growth in the bed pillow business.
